The Bauer Performance LS Baselayer II longsleeve Shirt Youth is a long-sleeve functional baselayer designed for young ice hockey players to wear underneath their protective equipment. Stretch material, an athletic close-to-body fit and targeted ventilation zones provide a functional layer for training and games.

The material consists of 83% Polyester and 17% Spandex. The stretch fabric supports freedom of movement and follows the dynamic movements of young ice hockey players.

Bauer uses a Tapered Hockey Fit for the longsleeve Shirt. The athletic cut sits closer to the body and allows the baselayer to be worn compactly underneath shoulder and elbow protection without Bauer classifying it as a traditional compression baselayer.

For additional ventilation, mesh inserts are positioned under the arms. These strategically placed areas promote airflow in a zone that is particularly exposed to heat and perspiration during ice hockey.

The integrated HeiQ Fresh™ Technology is designed to reduce the development of odor-causing bacteria. This helps the baselayer stay fresher for longer during regular training and frequent use.

Subtle Bauer details complete the functional construction. Bauer branding is positioned at the back of the neck, while a tonal Bauer print appears on the left forearm. The Locker Loop on the inside of the neck makes it easy to hang the longsleeve Shirt for airing or drying after training or games.
